Opera เป็นโปรแกรมเว็บบราวเซอร์อีกตัวหนึ่งที่เป็นที่นิยมในปัจจุบัน โปรแกรมมีให้ใช้งานทั้งบน PC iOS และยังมี Opera Mini ที่มีให้ใช้งานบนอุปกรณ์มือถืออย่าง iPhone iPad Android Symbian เป็นต้น โปรแกรมมีจุดเด่นตรงที่ความเร็วในการใช้งาน ระบบ Speed Dial ที่เข้ามาแทนที่ระบบ Bookmark แบบเดิมๆ ได้อย่างลงตัว พร้อมทั้งการ Sync ข้อมูลการตั้งค่าของโปรแกรมระหว่างแต่ละอุปกรณ์ ทำใหเราเสมือนใช้งานบราวเซอร์เดียวกันแม้จะเปิดจากอุปกรณ์อื่นๆ สำหรับเวอร์ชั่นล่าสุดที่ออกมาให้ทดลองเล่นกันก็มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงจากเวอร์ชั่น 11 เป็นอย่างมาก ที่สำคัญก็เห็นจะเป็นการเพิ่มการรองรับเทคโนโลยีใหม่อย่าง CSS3 HTML5 Do-Not-Track พร้อมทั้งมีการใช้ WebGL เพื่อช่วยเร่งความเร็วในการทำงาน

Operas popular Speed Dial has been greatly enhanced; your favorite pages now have clearer previews and dials can even dynamically show live content for websites. There is now no limit to how many dials you can use and it is simple to adjust the Speed Dial view to best fit your setup. Click the plus button to add a new website and type the address or choose from a list of suggestions. Edit the name if you want to make it all yours. Web developers can now also optimize the Speed Dial thumbnails so you can see what is happening on your favorite sites in a glance.
